Prince Kidnapped at Sea

Granny Murder

One of my friends was annoyed with me for not showing any of my newer work on this blog. So here's some newer work.

The Bird Book

After 2 months of work, I'm done with my first book!
If anyone wants to buy it, I will love you forever. Createspace made it easy and relatively affordable to do.

Here's the link to my estore on createspace:

I'll also have a page on Amazon, but it takes 5-7 business days for them to build.

Also, just as a disclaimer, it has to be around that price to sell in the distribution channels I wanted. Otherwise, I would've made it a lot cheaper.
I'll also have some copies in person by next week, if anyone in Rochester is interested.

P.s. of course as soon as I approve everything for print, I realize the cover bothers me. Please just ignore the bottom (even though I can't and it's driving me crazy).

Crunch Crunch

Please excuse the computer cord.

Slurp Slurp

Sorry I've been missing from this blog. I've been busy trying to find some place to live, pursuing graduate schools, and much more. But I haven't stopped painting! I'm doing a book about birds. Hopefully it's semi-funny but probably not. Here's a sneak preview:

Vet Office

I'm still going to make a lot of changes, but I had a lot of fun working on this.

Yellow Lab Comission

Awhile ago, I did a series of a bunch of paintings for Tufts Vet School. They've been hanging in their cafeteria for about a year, and occasionally I'll get emails asking for animal portraits from people who visited. A woman emailed me, interested in hiring me to do a painting of a yellow lab for her daughter's birthday. She told me her favorite colors were pink and purple, and it was super last minute, so I did the best I could with the time I was given. (That's my lovely boyfriend in the background holding it).

Vet Office in Progress

Can you tell which part I had reference for so far?

Summer

This summer, I've been working on non-art related things, so I haven't gotten the chance to draw or paint.
I was going through painting withdrawal, so lately I've been working on this big landscape painting to get it all out of my system.

Swamp Bears

A quick little painting I did from a hike.

Foxhunt Finished

The rabbit's kind of hard to see, but I wanted him to be hidden. From the foxes anyway. Tricky.

Pearl Again

Pearl is my pet rabbit, and coincidentally probably the cutest, fluffiest, stereotypical bunny on this planet.
