Chair

I'm still not sure which color intensity I like best. . .

Catch (colors)

I think this page is coming along now. I looked at Renata Liwska's work, which I really love, and looks kind of like what I'm doing anyways. She does graphite sketches and colors them digitally, but they look just like watercolor. Hers are still way better, but hopefully that motivates me.

Catch

I'm having trouble coloring my book in digitally. I feel like it instantly deadens what I already drew. This is how one of my scenes look right now, with different opacities in the mulitply layer. Any help or suggestions would be awesome.

Rupert Rabbit Colored In

Oh Man!

I'm really excited. I figured out how to digitally color in my graphite ilustrations so I can still have vibrant color, and the texture of the graphite. I made a separate layer of the colors and set it to multiply, then decreased the opacity so it wasn't so harsh. I think it's a nice improvement, especially from using the color replacement brush.

Anti Smoking Ad Illustrator Version

This is my color comp for my anti smoking ad. I decided to trace over my colored pencil drawing in illustrator and pick some colors. I figured it'd look a little cleaner. I'll be changing this up a lot though since people had really good suggestions from critique.

Dino Shirt

This is a t shirt design I did with my friend for Wastechester (www.wastechester.com) so she can win free tickets.

Just Ad Campaign

I just posted the entire ad campaign for JUST (Journal of Unified Statistical Techniques) I did junior year. I worked with the author and original creator of the journal, and sat down with him and reworked the ad exactly how he wanted it, live on my computer. This process was slightly painstaking, but it really gave me a idea of what he wanted. It's difficult to balance the simple, clean ideas I had for the campaign with the mathematical clutter he appreciated, but I think it still came out okay.

Ad Illustration

This is a product illustration of TOMS shoes. I have been working on it for forever, and it's still not where it needs to be yet. I used Illustrator, which maybe was not the best idea. I might try and attempt a hand drawn version, to see if I can make it more realistic.

Book Illustration Sketches

These are some of my sketches for book illustration. They are the parents of the main character of my book. I'm not quite happy with the mom yet- she's a little plain. Hopefully I'll figure out something to jazz her up. I want to kind of make her look like Oprah. . .

Tufts Paintings on Display!

The project coordinator for Tufts was nice enough to email me pictures of my paintings up on display. He's also putting a plaque with my name on it! So cool.

Irish Wolfhound

Another Tufts painting:

Owl

This is another painting I did for Tufts Vet School. This one's my favorite out of the bunch.

New Cows

I changed this painting around a bit. I wasn't quite happy with the colors, and now I'm closer to being satisfied.

Wall Sculpture

This sculpture was one of the bigger projects at Anthropologie, and took the most time. The little squares are made out of recycled magazines, cardboard, and copper.

Anthropologie

Over the summer, I interned at the clothing store Anthropologie. There, I designed and helped to build tons of displays. These are just a couple of pictures:
